Push Gastronomy was the brainchild of three people who had nothing better to do at work than spend their time planning their next culinary expedition.
It started out as an informal workplace-based private lunch club at the Paris London Café every Thursday lunchtime, but quickly evolved into a series of outings to other places on evenings and weekends.
A website charting these visits was the logical next step. This gradually mutated into a database of favourite restaurants, food shops, books, breweries and more.
Now, as a wiki, others who share our outlook on eating and drinking can also join in with suggestions, reviews, or any other types of contributions they would like to share.
Oh, and as for the origins of the name… it is a long story!
